In collaboration with Professor Fujii of the Faculty of Economics and Professor Managi from the Urban Institute, Kyushu University, this month, our article “Multinational life satisfaction, perceived inequality and energy affordability” was published in Nature Sustainability.
The article is available online for reading at https://rdcu.be/bGmyR and highlights the linkages between energy affordability and self-reported outcomes associated with health, life-satisfaction and economic inequality with peers.
This research is built on a large scale (>100,000) survey of 37 nations, using the internet and in-person interviews. We believe that the outcomes shown here can allow for fit-for-purpose policy making in a number of jurisdictions as well as supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
