I was invited to participate in the “5th International Workshop on Clean Energy Development in Asian Cities”, held at the Chikushi Campus of Kyushu University, hosted by three wonderful researchers: Assoc. Prof. Hooman Farzaneh, Platform of Inter/Transdisciplinary Energy Research (QPIT), Kyushu University, Prof. Shoichiro Hara, Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Kyoto University, and Prof. Aya Hagishima, Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences, Kyushu
University.
I presented some of my recent joint research about Multinational Life Satisfaction, Perceived Inequality and Energy Affordability, published in Nature Sustainability in late 2018. This presentation was timely, as it allowed my to connect my own research findings with those of my colleagues who have looked at energy access, and lifestyle issues, both theoretically and through field work.
